Penny was born and raised in Eagle Lake, Colorado County and has lived here all of my life. Living in a small town makes you really know people and also the land that makes this area. Her passion has always been real estate whether it was when she worked for a Mortgage Company in the construction lending department with new home builders or just riding out on a piece of property loving the fresh air and scenery. Life does not get any better than that. Penny has been a real estate agent for 18 years and truly likes to explain to the buyer or seller understand what the process is from listing /or buying the property to each step along the way to the signing at closing. I am Johnna Maertz, Partner and Broker at Blue Dolphin Realty, LLC. I have been in the workforce since the age of 16. I worked the oil and gas industry in the late 80's and early 90's preparing auto-cad drawings and designing oil and gas skids for manufacturing. When this industry headed on a downhill slope, I partnered in a medical supply business in 1992. Thus was the beginning of my self-employment ventures. I then moved into real estate as a sales associate in the early 2000s and became a Real Estate Broker soon after. The real estate market and laws are CONTINUOUSLY changing and I keep up with these changes by completing many hours of continuing education courses. A native Texan raised in Plano, Sally enjoys being a dedicated wife, Mom, Gimme, and active community member. These roles have allowed her to cultivate positive relationships in all aspects of her life. Her formal education includes a B.S. in Psychology from Texas A&M University and later a return to academia to earn a M. Ed. from University of Houston-Victoria. She devoted her career to serving the needs of her local community by committing over 25 years to private and public PK-12 schools and higher education institutions. Upon returning to College Station and fulfilling a dream to work at Texas A&M University, the exciting opportunity to try her hand at real estate presented itself. During her spare time from a full-time career, Sally began to research and learn all she could about real estate and the market. She approached real estate with the same passion as her experience in the field of education. Sally has now returned to her hometown in Colorado County and is looking forward to serving the needs of family, friends, and local and new community members.
